建筑材料的新突破

Employing novelty smart technology,smart materials,such as self-healing concrete, shape memory alloy, special coatings and Romeo-Juliet materials can be used to develop smart structures. Self-healing concrete is created by adding capsules into traditional concrete, which contain bacteria spores and a nutrient that produce limestone. When cracks appear in the concrete, the bacteria are activated and use the nutrients to produce limestone, which seals the crack. Shape memory alloys can be used to build musical bridges that move in time to music covered in panels containing the alloys when a current is applied. Special coatings are specifically designed for building facades to reduce energy consumption by reflecting the sun's rays. Romeo-Juliet materials are two materials fused together, like ply wood, to produce strong, lightweight structures with a lot of impact resistance.
These new materials are changing the way buildings are designed and constructed. They allow buildings to be constructed quickly,energy efficient and with fewer resources, making them cheaper, safer and more resilient than ever. The buildings are smarter, with integrated sensors and actuators that allow the buildings to be monitored and controlled remotely, helping to lower energy consumption and create more comfortable environments.
